The Tavakai are an ancient oceanic people who have lived for thousands of years upon the warm emerald lagoons of the planet Aureth. Their villages stand on living coral foundations that slowly grow with each generation, shaped by the songs of the tribe's elders. Every sunrise, the Tavakai paddle across the crystal waters to cultivate luminous reef gardens, gather glowing shellfruit, and care for the gentle sea creatures they believe carry the memories of their ancestors. The towering golden palms, known as Sunspire Trees, are not ordinary plants but living organisms whose radiant leaves absorb the planet's twin sunlight and transform it into fresh water, nourishing both the island and the surrounding reefs. To the Tavakai, the sea is not merely their home—it is a living spirit, and every wave is a whisper from those who came before them.
